B 103.9 The Beat FM Iloilo DYBE is a FM Community radio station operating in Iloilo City, Philippines. The format of the station is Community radio. This station aims for information dissemination, public service, and public awareness of Iloilo City Emergency Responders (ICER) under the office of Iloilo City Crisis / Disaster Management Office regarding fire, typhoons, road and other safety tips. And also for educational purposes, student practice, and a training ground for aspiring DJs.
103.9 The Beat Iloilo plays a great role in entertaining young adults, young professionals, college students and universities in the city of love, Iloilo City. With alternative, rock, indie, jazz, RnB, easy listening, pop, club, island and beach music throughout the day, and information, awareness and safety tips for listeners.
The Beat is the first FM station in the city to broadcast fully through the World Wide Web 24 hours, 7 days a week in both FM band and Internet streaming.
B 103.9 The Beat Iloilo is now working to become a full commercial radio station within 2010 and continue as an information and entertainment community station for the whole Iloilo Province, and moving the transmitter site to Northern Iloilo possibly in Santa Barbara, Iloilo or Pototan, Iloilo with studios at Ledesma Street, Iloilo City. Plans to boost up to 5,000 watts of effective radiating power with a new circular polarization antenna for better signal quality. With the network including stations in Boracay, Cebu, Metro Manila and other parts of the country.
