DYTM (91.1 FM), broadcasting as 91.1 Love Radio, is a radio station owned and operated by Manila Broadcasting Company. Its studio and transmitter are located at Leyte Park Compound, Magsaysay Blvd., Tacloban.[1][2]

History

DYTM was established in Calbayog on January 30, 1975, on 90.7 MHz while DYTA was established in Tacloban on 1976 on 91.1 MHz. Both stations transmitted on 1 kilowatt monurally. At that time, the station aired an easy listening format, under the "Beautiful Music" moniker. On July 19, 1990, DYTM went silent at midnight and on July 20, 1990, DYTA renamed to DYTM and upgraded its transmitter to 5 kilowatts stereo. On January 30, 1995, it was among the stations rebranded once more under MBC's Love Radio network. On February 28, 2000, it lasted for almost two decades, when Love Radio was reformatted as a masa (contemporary MOR) station and upgraded again to 10 kilowatts stereo for a clearer signal.
