Daanish Schools and Colleges(Boys and Girls) Dera Ghazi Khan are situated at 3 Km Taunsa Road Dera Ghazi Khan bypass. It is spread over an area of 50 acres and 50 acres is cultivated land area outside the school boundary. Construction of phase one commenced in 2010 and completed with a cost of Rs 389.642 Million for Boys and Rs 389.642 for Girls. Punjab Daanish Schools (Boys & Girls) D.G Khan commenced formal classes from 7th January 2013 within intake of 110 Boys and 94 Girls and inaugurated by Mian Hamza Shahbaz Sharif.[1][2]
Boys Campus[edit]
Lt. Col. (R) Iftikhar Hussain was selected the first Principal of the school and currently he is heading the school. Currently the school has four academic levels i.e. grade 6 – 9. Students of Daanish School (Boys) DG Khan will appear in board exam in 2016. Students appeared in PEC Exam this year with 100% pass percentage and with 99% A and above grades. Daanish School (Boys) D.G. Khan will reach seven academic levels and peak strength of 770 students in 2018.
Girls Campus[edit]
Mrs Shabnam Haseeb was appointed the first Principal of the school and is working till date. Currently the school has four academic levels i.e. grade 6 – 9. Student of Daanish School (Girls) DG Khan will appear in board exam in 2016. Students appeared in PEC Exam this year with 100% pass percentage and with 96% A and above grades. Daanish School (Girls) D.G. Khan will reach seven academic levels and peak strength of 770 students in 2018.[3]
