Dabney Winston Mercer is an American socialite and television personality. She is known for being a cast member of The CW's 2010 reality television series High Society.
Biography[edit]
Mercer is the daughter of George Riley Mercer II and Dale Tatum Mercer.[1][2] She has an older sister, Tinsley Mortimer.[1] She grew up at Graymont, her family's estate in Richmond.[3] Her paternal grandfather, George Riley Mercer Sr., founded Mercer Rug Cleansing in 1936.[4] She is a descendant of multiple First Families of Virginia.[5] Her father died on March 26, 2015 in Providence, Rhode Island.[6]
Mercer attended Episcopal High School, a boarding school in Alexandria, Virginia, where she was a member of the tennis team.[7][8][9] A debutante, she was presented to Richmond society at the Bal du Bois at the Country Club of Virginia.[10][2]
Mercer was a regular cast member of The CW's 2010 reality television series High Society.[11][12] While on the show, Mercer lived at The Empire Hotel on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with Jules Kirby.[13][14]
Mercer has also made appearances on Bravo's reality television series The Real Housewives of New York City alongside her sister and mother.[15]
She worked as a design assistant for Peter Som.[2]
Mercer dated Lorenzo Borghese.[16]
