Dadcula is a 2017 American short horror comedy film directed by Christopher Hendrickson and Gage McCann.[2] Written by Matthew Hoobin and starring Hoobin, Ronald Flowers, and Amanda Christ, the film received one award and two nominations at the Gasparilla Film Festival High School Competition, and was shown at the 2017 Sunscreen Film Festival.[3]

Plot[edit]

Jonathan, a teenage vampire, prepares for a date with a human girl named Lucy. He warns his archaic vampire father, Petyr, to not interfere with the date, and Petyr agrees. When Lucy arrives, Petyr becomes off-putting, causing Jonathan to offer drinks and to watch a movie. As Jonathan and Lucy drink Kool-Aid and watch Nosferatu, Petyr orders them pizza. After Lucy leaves their apartment, Petyr offers Jonathan sunscreen as "protection" and Jonathan walks away to his bedroom.
