Daffodil International College (DIC; Bengali: ড্যাফোডিল আন্তর্জাতিক কলেজ), one of the country's leading educational institutions, is an intellectual power house in Bangladesh.[1] It is an intermediate educational institution managed by Daffodil Family, is located at Lalmatia in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It was established in the session: 2003–2004. Its aims are as follows-
- To ensure quality education with a view to facing the challenges of 21 st century
- To explore the latent talent ensuring physical, mental and intellectual development imbued with moral values.
- To help develop the creative faculty of the students and healthy outlook
- To engage the students in various co-curricular activities and develop leadership qualities
- To promote the learners to be eligible for higher education in home and abroad.
The first Principal of DIC was Prof. Ashraf Ali and present principle is Lt Col Md Zahirul Islam (Retd).[2]

Daffodil International College (DIC; Bengali: ড্যাফোডিল আন্তর্জাতিক কলেজ), Dhanmondi, A private college in Bangladesh. It was established in 2003. On 18 May 2003, a decision to establish a Higher Secondary Educational Institution (college) was taken by Daffodil Group/Family in a meeting held at conference room of DIIT (old campus).[3] The then academic director of DIIT, Mr. Mohammad Nuruzzaman, summoned a meeting as per the direction of Chairman, Daffodil Family, Mr. Md Sabur Khan. Mr. Md Sabur Khan presided over the meeting and a committee consisting of 09 (nine) members was formed to lead the college.

The college has its own permanent campus, though it started its journey in a temporary building.

Clubs[edit]
Culture plays a significant role in formal education. Education is not completed without the practice of culture. That is why Daffodil International College has created ample opportunities in weekly routine for participating in cultural and other co-curricular activities. With that goal in mind, many clubs have been formed here, through which club activities are conducted at 5th period of every Thursday. Teachers conduct the activities of the clubs under the guidance and active supervision of the principal. This is a significant feature of DIC which is rarely seen in the colleges of Bangladesh.
Club activities have paved the way for students; creativity and mental development. In addition, through club activities, students are getting the opportunity to have healthy thoughts and healthy recreation, creating the experience of team work among them. As these initiatives are playing a positive role in getting students to college, it will also help them to receive higher education and have a sign of achievement which will help them to become enlightened person.
Daffodil International College is successfully conducting 11 clubs. They are as follows-
