Daisuke Kamada (born December 25, 1981) is a Japanese fashion model for Dior, Givenchy and Calvin Klein. [1]
He participated in events in emblematic cities around the world, such as New York Fashion Week, Tokyo, Paris and Singapore.[2]
Early Years
Born and raised in Japan, Daisuke Kamada is a Japanese model who was discovered at the age of 14. He participated in Portland's Fashion Week riot show event.[3]
Career and Trajectory
Even though male models receive less attention in Japan than female models, and few would consider making a living in this profession, Kamada has succeeded through hard work and dedication.[4]
He became independent at the age of 18 and is currently the president of his own management company, Chiisana Mizusei Co., Ltd.[5]. He has launched several media projects as a producer.[6].
He walked in New York Fashion Week in 2002 at the age of 21, Madrid Fashion Week in 2008, Portland Fashion Week in 2012 and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in 2017.[7].
His career in the fashion industry has allowed him to work for major brands such as Calvin Klein, Kenzo, Dior, Givenchy, Comme des Garçons, Fendi, Asahi Beer, Dry School, Georgia/Nommels Disme and Prima Vista.[8].
In April 2021, he appeared in the official media of The Coca-Cola Company as the face of the brand and gained an important position.[9].
