Dale W. Wood is an investor and the founder of Dale Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Dubai.[1] He invests in early-stage technology and hospitality companies.[2]
Career
Dale founded Dale Ventures in 2017.[2] The firm focuses on equity financing in Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas.
In 2022, Wood was a minority investor in a $45 million funding round for Instanda, a UK-based insurance software company led by Toscafund Asset Management.[3][4]
His firm acquired a majority stake in X-Golf Entertainment in 2021.[5] In 2022, Wood invested AUD$2.5 million in Rail Online, an Australian travel booking platform.[5]
Other investments include Landbay, a British mortgage lender,[6] and Rayo Credit, a fintech lender in Colombia.[2]
