DAMILOLA

Damilola Oni was born on May 2nd, 1995 at Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria. She is the Firstborn and only daughter of her parents, with three younger brothers. Damilola grew up around the Orile iganmu and Aiyeleto area of Surulere, Lagos.

EDUCATION: Oritamefa Baptist nursery and Primary Surulere Junior Secondary School, 2005 - 2007 Federal Government Girls College, Oyo 2008-2010 The University of Ibadan (B.A Linguistics), 2011 - 2015 NYSC- Served at St Theresa’s College, Nsukka, Enugu state. 2016-2017 The University of Ibadan (MSc Indigenous Knowledge and Development), 2018-2020

CAREER: She Started her acting career at the Amphitheater, the University of Ibadan where she acted in several stage plays. Although a graduate of Linguistics, she was always found in the Theatre Arts department and it’s environs. She Proceeded to become the Drama Director, National Christian Corpers Fellowship (NCCF), Nsukka chapter, Enugu, during her mandatory service year. In 2017, Damilola Oni joined the Rare Edge Media Company as a Co-Host on a popular breakfast show, AAJIIREBI, aired on Africa Magic Yoruba every day. Also started screen acting in 2017, with first production she acted in titled LOVISH, a Rare Edge media Production. She has been on several projects since then, some of which are MNet projects, Iroko Tv projects, Epic Yoruba Movies, acting alongside Veterans and growing to become a force to reckon with in the entertainment industry.
