Damini Bhatla (born 4 July 1996) is an Indian playback singer who works primarily in the Cinema of South India. She is best known with one of the most popular song "Paccha Bottesina" from the hit film Baahubali: The Beginning. Damini has an elder sister, Mounima, who is also into the music industry.
Early life[edit]
Born on 4 July 1996, in Rajahmundry, Damini grew up in Rajahmundry and started learning basics of Carnatic music in Kakinada from Smt. Akunda Satyavathi and moved to Hyderabad for education and also to pursue a career in music. She started her training from Sri DV Mohan Krishna and later went to Sri NC Murthy for Carnatic classes.
Her father CH Radha Krishna and mother CH Sri Jhansi supported her throughout the career. Damini has an elder sister, Mounima, who is also a part of the Music industry. She Appeared in Multiple television shows like Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs and Padutha Theeyaga with host Dr. S.P.Balasubrahmanyam who hails from Andhra Pradesh, South india.

M.M. Keeravani has been instrumental in Damini's career delivering a superhit melody "Paccha Bottesina" from the hit movie Baahubali: The Beginning and also got nominated for IIFA Utsavam for Best Female Playback Singer. Besides this, she also received the best duet song for GAMA awards. In 2008, she started performing in TV shows with her first performance in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs. In 2011, she won the second prize for Padutha Theeyaga , a reality show hosted by the one of the most popular playback singers, Padma Bhushan Dr. S.P.Balasubrahmanyam. Damini and Mounima are prominently known for their singing sister duo.[1].Her sister Mounima sung a track in Baahubali: The Conclusion. Damini has been learning carnatic music from Vyzarsu Balasubrahmanyam and Light music from little Musicians Academy.
