Dan Colquhoun
Dan Colquhoun is a school teacher from Sydney, Australia, who is inspiring children to learn through music.[1]
Known as Rocking Dan the Teaching Man, Colquhoun, 44, is internationally famous with his teaching lessons set to rock and roll music.[2]
Teaching at St Declan’s Catholic School, Kogarah, he also has a YouTube channel which in 2018, has had more than 3.35 million hits from 100 countries. He is among the top 25 children’s music blogs and websites.[3]
Colquhoun, a graduate of the Australian Catholic University, struggled at school because he is dyslexic. He finds that songs are an alternative method of teaching kids who are challenged when learning.[2]
