Poole has worked in a number British Theatre productions, including the role of Tattoo in Philip Ridley's Brokenville at the Edinburgh Festival 2001, where he later returned in 2004 with his own production of When It's Ajar, a film scriptwriter’s Groundhog Day[2]. He has also played Danny in The Royal Court Theatre's production of Jerusalem[3], directed by Ian Rickson,[4] and Major Franklin Lushington in the Almeida Theatre's 2013 production of The Dark Earth and The Light Sky, directed by Richard Eyre.[5]

Directing/Cameraman[edit]

Since then he has worked with series producers worldwide on a number of international TV series for the US and the UK.

He filmed the award winning international documentary Muse of Fire, with his drama school alumni, Giles Terera.[9] Touring the world interviewing stars of the stage and screen, the documentary explored why people are afraid of William Shakespeare. Muse of Fire was broadcast on BBC Four in 2013[10] and received the Falstaff Award for Best Film in 2014.[11]
