Dan Weinstein is an American business executive who currently serves as the president of Studio71.

Career[edit]

Upon leaving Boston University with a bachelors in Marketing, Weinstein began employment at United Talent Agency as an assistant[1] for two years before departing to join the then-new "The Collective" in 2007. During his time at The Collective, Weinstein helped grow the Annoying Orange as a brand[2] and alongside Reza Izad and Michael Green, grew numerous other client's channels including Fred, iJustine and Shane Dawson. Weinstein was one of the founding partners of Collective Digital Studio in 2011 alongside Michael Green and Reza Izad.[3] Weinstein’s talent instincts have resulted in Studio71 joining forces with massively successful entertainment icons like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Shay Mitchell, and Mayim Bialik.

Weinstein served as Collective Digital Studio's Chief Content Officer and helped spearhead it's talent initiatives.[1] During his time as Chief Content Officer, Weinstein helped grow Annoying Orange beyond Youtube with merchandise in popular retail chains, a successful TV show, (where he is the executive producer) and an iPhone app.[4] Weinstein was kept on as the president of Studio71 following the merger of Collective Digital Studio and Studio71 by ProSiebenSat.[5]

Weinstein has also been the executive producer for numerous television shows and web series such as Rhett and Link's Buddy System, Epic Meal Time's Epic Meal Empire, The Annoying Orange's The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange and Video Game High School.[6]
