Dana (mythology)
Danaru:Дана (славянская мифология) is a Slavic Pseudo Deity. She is allegedly a water goddess She was proposed by Nikolay Kostomarov, and rejected by modern scholarship.
She is supposedly the source of the origin of the river names Danube and Dnieper and Dniester. In reality all three of them have Celtic originating names that eventually trace back to Proto Indo European Deh₂nu, a deity without recorded descendants in slavic mythology simple:User:Immanuelle/Dana (mythology)
