Dana Razik, native of Thalassery, Kerala is a singer, musician and Instagram influencer.
Early life[edit]
Dana Razik was born on 12th July 2002 to Abdul Razik MC, a businessman and singer and Thahira CT, a homemaker. She has three siblings Rafa Razik (Architect), Thooba Razik (Lecturer) and Mohammed Durra who is a +1 Student (all are musically talented). UAE born, Dana was inclined towards music since she was 5 years old. They moved to Kerala in 2011 when she was in her 3rd grade. She got full support and backing from her parents, and that encouraged her to choose music as a full-time career and profession. Dana is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in B.A in Political Science from Maharajas College, Ernakulam Kerala. Dana Razik has won numerous awards at the Kerala State Kalolsavam for the past five years.
Musical Career[edit]
Dana's musical journey started through the different social media platforms. She has a YouTube channel[1] showcasing many songs sung by her and gathering millions of views. She is also very active on Instagram with her short videos and reels. She has sung and featured in many cover songs and independent projects of different genres. Dana has also worked on other brand collaborations. Dana Razik is in the top five singers popular on Instagram with her melodious voice.[2] Her cover versions of songs like 'Sundaranayavane' and 'Madhupole Peytha Mazhaye' clocked millions of views on her Instagram and YouTube channel, hence she is popularly known as ‘Million Pattukari’ among netizens[3] Dana recently sang and featured for the first time in a music video 'Veendum' by music composer Afzal Yusuff.[4] Dana wishes to become an independent musician.
