Dane on the Run!! is a 2023 indie side-scrolling platform video game developed by Red Toilet Studios. The game is made from the programming game Game Builder Garage.
Gameplay[edit]
Dane on the Run!! is a 2.5D side-scrolling platformer. The player mainly controls Dane and Sophie, residing in a small town named Elizabethtown. The player can also choose between Story Mode and Multiplayer. Story Mode leads to the journey of Dane and Sophie. Multiplayer allows two players to shoot each other in a limited space boundary.
Plot[edit]
Sophie is a female Fudula, a species of round fluffball-like creatures with a prominent ability to speak English, who survives the poaching in the Montana forest. She leaves the forest to look for a new home. Meanwhile, a teacher introduced the class about Fudulas, and Dane was the only student immersed in them. After seven years, Sophie finally places her den near the urban area of Elizabethtown. As she is sleeping, one of the Red Henchmen kidnaps her. In the morning, Dane goes outside to buy food until he witnesses Sophie being held by a Red Henchman. Out of curiosity, Dane follows them quietly and reaches the No Body Cares Corporation. He was spotted the moment he went inside. Dane manages to come five floors to the top to defeat a giant, black-colored character called the Boss, grab Sophie, and escape the building before it explodes.

On May 27, 2023, Dane published a teaser trailer for early access of Dane on the Run!! on the Red Toilet Studios YouTube channel[1] and was announced on Reddit the same day[2]. Dane on the Run!! EARLY ACCESS released on May 28. It was announced on Discord the same day.
