Danial Jafari (Persian: دانیال جعفری; born 17 November 2010 in Kerman, Iran) is an Iranian actor.[1][2] Jafari received the Golden Butterfly Award for Best Teenage Actor at the 38th International Film Festival for Children and Youth for his performance in the film Bride Of The Spring, directed by Fereydoun Najafi.[3][4][5][6][7]
At the 42nd Fajr International Film Festival, he received a certificate of appreciation and a special award for his performance in the film.[8]
Artistic career
Jafari received two international acting certificates from the University of Oxford in England, according to Iranian news reports.[9][10][11]

Iranian cinema has talented child and teenage actors
Jafari, who appeared in the television series Bi Hamegan and the film Kianoush's Garden at the 42nd Fajr Film Festival, spoke to a reporter from the cultural section of the Iranian Labour News Agency (ILNA) about Iranian cinema for children and teenagers.
He said that, alongside growth in Iranian cinema at the national level, cinema for children and teenagers had also experienced a productive period. He added that this continued development was evident to young performers, filmmakers, and the wider public.
Jafari said that cinema for children and teenagers had undergone significant changes over previous decades. He explained that, while reviewing films from earlier generations, he had seen the sustained efforts of filmmakers in this field. He added that contemporary filmmakers were continuing this approach while introducing new ideas.
He also said that the younger generation included many talented children and teenagers and that filmmakers should identify and introduce these emerging talents to cinema in order to help shape its future.[16]
I want to become another Javad Ezati
In an interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA), Jafari, an actor in Kianoush's Garden, said that he hoped to become another Javad Ezati in the future of Iranian cinema. He also said that an actor's responsibility went beyond winning awards such as the Crystal Simorgh and the Academy Award.
Jafari said that it was his first time attending the festival and thanked his acting mentor, Dariush Movahed, who authored a series of books on the geometry of acting. He credited Movahed with helping cinema recognize new faces.
He also thanked the director of Kianoush's Garden, saying that the director paid attention to even the smallest details and corrected performances when they did not appear realistic. Jafari said that this demonstrated the director's professionalism.[17]
