Danice (Store)
Danice is a privately held affordable women's clothing store chain in New York City founded in 1935. The chain has stores in every borough of New York and 30 stores citywide.[1][2] The store mostly specializes in clothing for young women and can be found throughout the city.
History
Danice was founded around 1935 with its first store opening in 14th Street, Manhattan. Not much is known about its history, and the first store from there seems to no longer exist, but since then the brand has grown throughout the city of New York and has stores in every borough. As of December 31st, 2023, Danice has yet to expand to other cities outside New York, even ones in the metropolitan area, likely because of its small size.
