Daniel Beales (born Adam Beales on 26 February 1969 in Rustington, England) is a British actor.
Biography[edit]
In 1982, at the age of 13, he was cast in BBC's The Cleopatras[1] as Ptolemy XIII. In 1988 he played John Taplow in The Royalty Theatre's acclaimed revival of Terence Rattigan's The Browning Version[2][3] with Paul Eddington and Dorothy Tutin. He played Daniel Wetherby in Jupiter Moon[4][5] for BSB in 1990 as well as appearing in many TV shows including Look Around You[6], Goodbye, Mr. Chips[7] and A Better Class of Person,[8] the autobiography of John Osborne. He has made numerous stage appearances, recently playing Tony Blackburn in All or Nothing the Musical[9][10][11] 2017–2018. In 2019 he played Patrick Moore in award winning Netflix series The Crown.[12]
He lives in West Sussex with his wife, Rachel and their two sons.
