Daniel Jay Cameron (born November 22, 1985) is an American politician and lawyer serving as the 51st Attorney General of Kentucky. Cameron is the first Republican elected to the office since 1944 and the first African-American attorney general of Kentucky.

During his tenure as Attorney General of Kentucky, Cameron was embroiled in controversy over his handling of the Breonna Taylor case, as well as unsuccessful legal challenges against Governor Andy Beshear’s emergency COVID-19 public health measures.
