Daniel Jacob is a Romanian film producer and media entrepreneur with business activities in the film industry, known for the development, the production and the distribution of several feature films in the domestic and international markets. Jacob is currently the managing director at Zazu Film, heading the day-to-day operations of the company[1][2]. Jacob was in charge of the production and distribution of Love is a story (2015), #Selfie 69 (2016), Oh, Ramona! (2019) and The Perfect Escape (2022), directed by Cristina Jacob.

Daniel Jacob is the producer of Romanian feature film Oh, Ramona! (2019), a teenage comedy with an English adaptation of a best-selling book written by comedian Andrei Ciobanu. Oh, Ramona! was purchased by Netflix for worldwide distribution, dubbed in 27 languages, translated in 33 languages and distributed in 190 territories.[6] All the other features produced by Daniel Jacob have been purchased by Netflix for worldwide distribution: Selfie 69 (2016), #Selfie (2014), Love is a Story (2015).[7][8][9]
