Daniel Lucas Rowe (born 29 January 1989) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for National League club A.F.C. Fylde.

Career[edit]

Rowe joined Fylde in 2014 from Lincoln City after a number of loan spells in non-league football with Droylsden and Stockport County. Having played his youth football at Preston North End and Manchester United, Rowe found regular football at Kendal Town, where he scored nine goals in 14 league games. [2] Then National League side Fleetwood Town took the striker, but he failed to feature regularly as they would also sign future Leicester City and England striker, Jamie Vardy just a season later.

Rowe scored 48 league goals[3] in the 2016-17 National League North as A.F.C. Fylde gained promotion to the National League for the 2017-18 season. Rowe also managed to score 50 goals in the 2016 calendar year, more than both Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic [4]
