Career[edit]

At 12, in the 5th grade Daniel was asked by his father Michael Mouyal to act in a feature film he would direct titled "A Viking Saga; Son of Thor" and Daniel happily accepted. Daniel took the role of Oyvind, an adept viking boy and a bully.[6] The majority of the filming took place over two weeks in Denmark and there was one scene filmed in "Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor" in a classroom that Daniel was actually attending for a scene where his character took magical mushrooms and dreamt that he was one of the vikings. Daniel recalled traveling with the actors and crew and attending pubs where he noted the celebrity status of Alexander Willaume, Peter Gantzler, and Erik Holmey.

Daniel attended Highland Oaks Middle School and participated in extracurricular activities such as Cross Country, Swimming, and Orchestra each year consecutively. He attended "Dr. Michael Krop Sr. High" his freshman year due to his acceptance to their magnet program for his excellent Viola playing as he had played Viola in an Orchestra from 3rd grade every year consecutively til' then and joined as a member of their Orchestra.[7] Daniel decided he had enough of the Orchestra and wanted a social life so he decided to go to the high school in his assigned school district "Alonzo Mourning Sr. High School" where he joined their Swimming Team and Water Polo team. When Daniel was 16 years old his parents got divorced and led to what Daniel describes as "very turbulent and rough times" and Daniel, inspired by "Project X" would often throw parties inviting anywhere from ten to two hundred classmates at his mother's house when his mother would leave for a work trip. Daniel graduated high school a year earlier than the rest of his graduating class and decided to pursue becoming a pilot like his father.

Daniel enrolled in Broward College and took classes and successfully obtained his private pilot's license and nearly two hundred fifty hours of pilot time in command. Daniel however dropped out of college with 70+ credits and decided he didn't want to become a pilot for hire as he claims "It was a very stressfull time in my life".

Daniel pursued ventures in digital marketing as well as music artist management that lasted just a few months and then he decided to move to New York to pursue film and record music. Daniel auditioned for Broadway but didn't get a role so he decided to enroll in "New York Film Academy" where he would gain a foundation for filmmaking and acting. In his time in New York he filmed, created, and acted in several short films as well as recorded songs and music videos. Daniel described his New York experience as "beautiful and inspiring, however lonely although I was surrounded by so many people." Daniel moved back to Miami in 2019 right around the time that "Covid 19" began.

Musical Style[edit]

Daniel Mouyal cites Lil Wayne, Drake, Kanye West, Eminem, 50 cent, Dr. Dre, Tupac Shakur and DJ Khaled to be among his influences in hip hop and Pitbull, Akon, Flo-Rida, Usher, Lil Bow Wow, Justin Bieber and Michael Jackson but Bob Marley is his favorite artist of all time. Growing up, Daniel was exposed to lots of rap music from his neighborhood friends and in summer camp and recalls his dad playing lots of rap and 80s music in the car.

"The first CD I ever bought was Curtain Call LP... I was sitting in my uncle's apartment in Copenhagen, Denmark and my uncle noticed the TV was not on so he flips through the channels and the music video premiere on MTV for "Shake That" comes on and I asked him to leave it on and I instantly fell in love with the music, the next day I was begging my father to take me to the local music store to buy the album."

"Down the street from the house I was living at I recall Brett David letting Bow Wow film a music video at his house as me and my friends were enthusiastically watching from outside of his gate and Brett David acted in several music videos as well as a Timbaland video.

"My middle school had a field day once a year where we celebrated the end of the year and passing a statewide test and I remember in 8th grade at "Highland Oaks Middle School" it was the most exciting day because a white rolls royce pulls up in front of the stage and "DJ Khaled" and "Ace Hood" step out of the car and everyone rushes to crowd around them and they were singing "We Takin' over" and "I'm So Hood'."
