Daniel Clark Pickering (born August 16, 1974) is a British TV/film producer, visual FX artist and animator, born in Whipps Cross, London, England.
Biography[edit]
Pickering is a polymath & has an academic background in both electronic engineering and computer animation. He worked in special/visual FX as CGI consultant to Oscar-winning Brian Johnson (Alien and The Empire Strikes Back).[1]
In 2012, he was nominated for a Broadcast award.[2]
Career[edit]
Pickering is executive producing Gerry Anderson's last 3D CGI animated feature film, Gerry Anderson's A Christmas Miracle.[3]
In May 2007, Pickering was the main founder of the vfx/animation and production company Annix Ltd, based in Pinewood Studios, England.[4][5] He most notably created the Cbeebies show "Little Charley Bear" narrated by James Corden,[4] and the animated short film "Scragg 'n' Bones".[6][7]
In 2013, He executive produced the UK zombie comedy film Stalled[8] and the UK drama "Chicken" and is developing a live action feature film based on his childhood idol.
In 2018, He started a new Animation Studio with the express purpose of making Animated feature films.
