Daniel Reichard (born June 20, 1978) is an American actor and singer. He is best known for playing the role of Bob Gaudio in the original cast of Broadway musical Jersey Boys (2005).
Early life[edit]
Reichard was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and is the 8th of 9 children. He is a graduate of St. Ignatius High School in Cleveland, Ohio[1], and of University of Michigan's School of Music, Theatre & Dance.

Broadway[edit]
Reichard originated the role of Bob Gaudio in the Tony Award for Best Best Musical-winning hit Jersey Boys at the August Wilson Theater on Broadway.[2]
In 2008, he starred as the title role in the New York City Opera's production of Candide,[3] alongside Richard Kind.
Off-Broadway / Regional[edit]
Reichard's career began with his appearance as Ted in the Weston Playhouse's 2000 production of Stephen Sondheim's Saturday Night.
In 2001, Reichard appeared as Charley in the Off-Broadway revival showcase of Goodtime Charley at the ArcLight Theater.[4]
He starred in Forbidden Broadway's 20th Anniversary Celebration at the Douglas Fairbanks Theater, alongside Donna English.[5]
Reichard appeared as Charlie in The Goodspeed Opera House's 2001 production of Brigadoon.[6]
In 2003, Reichard starred as Keith Haring in The Public Theater's 2003 production of Radiant Baby,[7] directed by George .C Wolf.
He appeared in the 2003 production of The Thing About Men in New York City at the Promenade Theater in New York City.[8]
Reichard played the role of Motel the Tailor at the North Shore Theater's 2003 production of Fiddler on the Roof in Beverly, MA.
In 2004, he debuted at the St. Louis MUNY as Lon in their production of Meet Me in St. Louis.
He starred in Blood Drive: A Musical Triptych its 2005 production at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Waterford, CT.[9]
Reichard originated the role of Emmet Otter in the 2008 stage production of Jim Henson's Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas at the Goodspeed Opera House, which included four new original songs from composer Paul Williams.
In 2008, Reichard returned to the St. Louis MUNY as Freddy in their production of My Fair Lady.[10]
He starred in the New York Musical Theater Festival's 2009 production of The Happy Embalmer, with Tituss Burgess.[11]
Reichard appeared as Ted Casablanca in The Valley of the Dolls for the Casablanca Actor's Fund, alongside Charles Busch.

In 2008, Reichard appeared as Francis in Forever Plaid: The Movie, a filmed adaptation revival of the Off-Broadway musical review Forever Plaid.
