Daniel Rojas Pachas (born 1983, Lima, Perú) is a Chilean poet, editor and novelist[1], known for his work with Cinosargo[2] (Latin American publishing house) and his books Random, Video killed the radio star and Flesh, meat and beef. He studied literature in Chile at the University of Tarapacá, in Mexico he did a postgraduate degree at the University of Guanajuato in Hispanic American Literature, and continues to work in the field as an editor, an expert in the literature of the north of Chile[3] and academic based in Belgium.[4] He is a founder member of the collective Pueblos Abandonados[5], created in 2013 together with Oscar Barrientos Bradasic, Marcelo Mellado, Rosabetty Muñoz and Yanko González. In 2015, the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage of Chile, awarded him the Cultural Management Award for his career.[6]. In 2021 his narrative is included in the book Under the Neon Solitude - Contemporary Short Story Anthology of Latin America[7] with authors such as Guadalupe Nettel, Carlos Yushimito and Liliana Colanzi.
