Danielle Collins (born 23 February 1982) is an English face yoga teacher, entrepreneur, author, podcaster, YouTuber and founder of The Danielle Collins Face Yoga Method.:[1].
Early Life & Education[edit]
Collins was born in Plymouth and studied Education English Literature at Bath Spa University, gaining a first class honours degree. Collins has completed diplomas in face massage, professional relaxation therapy, nutrition, Hatha yoga and pre and post natal yoga with The British School of Yoga [1]. She is fully trained in Reiki Level 1 and is currently completing her Reiki Level 2. Collins has also completed introductory training in Thai Yoga Massage, Shiatsu, Indian Head Massage, the Alexander Technique, EFT and meditation [2].
Collins began her journey into wellness when at the age of 21 her life changed after a virus, followed by Myalgic Encephalopathy (ME), left her bed ridden and encouraged her to explore holistic alternatives and yoga to help cure her ME. She fully recovered in 18 months [1].
Collins started teaching yoga and relaxation classes in Bath UK which then led to her developing The Danielle Collins Face Yoga Method technique [3].

The Danielle Collins Face Yoga Method has been created to help and empower individuals to look and feel the best version of themselves, using natural and effective techniques. In this method individuals learn how to use the facial muscles, relax tension, smooth wrinkles and boost blood flow [4].
The Danielle Collins Face Yoga Method has a large following, especially on Collins’ YouTube channel, Facebook and Instagram account [5]. The teacher training certification created by Collins and approved and accredited by The International Institute for Complementary Therapists [6] and the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine [7] has trained 1000s of individuals in over 50 different countries worldwide to become Face Yoga instructors [3].
Face Yoga has shown the potential to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and aging. For example, a study by dermatologists at Northwestern University discovered that after a 20 week study Face Yoga made individuals look 3 years younger [8].

Collins lives in Bath, UK, with her husband (co-director at The Face Yoga Expert) and their two daughters, Lucia and Lilla [1].
Collins has stated that her job is her passion and true calling in life. Collins’ interests include yoga, reading books about holistic health and spending time at the beach [1].
