Danielle Mills
Danielle Nicole Mills (born March 28, 1991) is an American entrepreneur, author, and former professional tennis player. She is the founder of Headstrong LLC. She has also authored the book “How to Master LinkedIn: and Separate Yourself from the Masses.[1][2][3]
Early life[edit]
Mills was born in the city of Rochester, New York. She was introduced to tennis by her parents at the age of 3. She acquired her professional tennis training at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, also known as the Nick Bollettieri Tennis academy. She moved there to train full time at the age of 10. At the age of 14, she traveled the world as a professional tennis player and played several tournaments such as the WTA tour and the ITF Tour.[4]
In 2009, Mills entered the University of Miami on a full athletic scholarship and completed her studies in communication and media studies. After her sophomore year she transferred to the University of South Florida and received her Bachelor of Arts degree.

She held the 195th rank as a junior in the world. She held the 587th rank in WTA singles and the 509th rank in the doubles.[1]
She has participated in various tournaments such as Junior Wimbledon, Junior US Open, and Junior Australian Open. Starting from 2009, Mills played D1 Tennis at The University of Miami & the University of South Florida.[1]
During a tournament in Mexico, Mills suffered a severe three herniated disc injury. As a result, she retired from tennis at the age of 24.[1][5]
Entrepreneur[edit]
Mills is the founder and acting CEO of Headstrong LLC that was established on March 28, 2019. She has started ‘The Headstrong Podcast.’ The podcast was launched in April 2020. Every week she has a new special guest on her show.[3]
