Danny Bennett
Danny Bennett (died 3 August 2008)[citation needed] was an Irish footballer.
Career
He joined Shamrock Rovers in 1957 and made his debut as a left half at Glenmalure Park on 12 January 1958 against Sligo in a 5–1 win.[1] He was a member of the Shamrock Rovers squad that won the 1958–59 League of Ireland title,[2] and remained on the squad for the club's preliminary round games of the 1959–60 European Cup.[3][4] Bennett joined Sligo Rovers in mid-1960.[5][6]
