Danny Searle
Danny Searle (born 2 April 1978) is an English professional football manager who is currently the head coach at Waterford F.C.[1]
He began his coaching career working with Southend United School of Excellence. He also worked at Chelsea as a development centre lead before moving to Charlton Athletic as an academy coach working with the Pre-Academy, Under 9s, Under 10s, Under 11s and Under 12s.
Searle then moved to West Ham United where he was appointed lead foundation phase coach[2] before being promoted to lead youth development coach and then head of coaching Under 15s – Under 18s.
Searle then made the move into management after taking a role as assistant manager at Braintree Town under Hakan Hayrettin. After Hayrettin left his role, Searle was appointed manager.[3][4]
After leaving Braintree, Danny spent two-and-a-half years at Aldershot Town F.C.[5]
Searle was appointed head coach of League of Ireland First Division promotion-chasing Waterford F.C. in June 2022.[6]
