Dante Colle
Dante Colle (born August 2, 1994 in Addison, Illinois)[1] is an American pornographic actor.
Sexuality and career[edit]
Colle (Pronounced Cole/Coal) got into the pornography business by responding to an ad on the website Backpage when he was 18 and subsequently began shooting for Corbin Fisher.[2] Prior to this work, he described himself as heterosexual; In 2013, he signed a 4-year contract with the gay film studio under the pseudonym Ryder, after which he said his view of sexuality changed and he wanted to explore it. [3] Since 2018, he also shoots in straight, bisexual and transgender porn films, such as for WhyNotBi? and TransSensual, but is mainly known as a gay actor due to the previous work of several years. In an interview, he described that he does not identify with a sexuality, but is generally open-minded, but typically leans more towards women.[4] For the January 2021 issue of XBIZ World, Colle wrote a column about shooting in both the straight and gay industries, calling himself sexually fluid and wishing more male performers were ready for different genres, which he believes would reduce stigma. [3]
In 2020, Colle won "Performer of the Year" at the Grabby Awardss along with Michael Delray.[5] He was also featured with four colleagues in the documentary Pornstar Pandemic on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the work of porn performers[6] and filmed a user-based gender-nonconforming "Boyfriend Experience" with OnTheTelly for the Virtual Reality studio VRFanService. [7] At the XBIZ Awards 2021, he was first in the new gender-neutral Performer of the Year category (Male/Female Performer of the Year categories continued to be awarded at the same time), in which there were no nominees in advance and which was decided by XBIZ and industry peers.[8]
