Daphee (Singer)
Daphne Puente, known by the stage name Daphee, is a pop artist who was signed to Thump Records[1]. She is mostly known for her single "My Hair Like This" which was featured on "Dance Moms", "Toddlers & Tiaras" and "LA Hair" under a former alias, "Mz Daphne".[2][3][4]

Biography[edit]
Daphee was born and raised in Los Angeles and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. She had always been interested in music and arts as a child and grew up playing keyboards and the accordion and sang in community events. Years later, Daphne was eventually hired to be a Playboy Cyber Model and hosted numerous events at the Playboy Mansion.[5] Daphee caught the eyes and ears of veteran music producer/artist D. Salas after she posted a video of her singing on social media.[6] Her career soon blossomed as a singer/songwriter as she composed songs for grammy winner “Jay Perez,” Billboard award winners, “Tierra,” smooth jazz chart toppers “DW3,” “Rocky Padilla,” “Midget Loco,” “OG Playboy,” D. Salas and many others.[7] Daphee also co-wrote the song, “Reasons,” for MC Magic.[8]
Hair Like This[edit]
"Hair Like This" was the theme song for "L.A. Hair", an American television series show on WE tv.[4] It was also featured on Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition (Jojo's Rapunzel dance), Season 2, Episode 7. [9]
She Aint Nothin But A Hoodrat[edit]
"She Aint Nothin But A Hoodrat" was featured on VH1's "Black Ink Crew Chicago".[10]
Dreamer in California[edit]
Daphee's debut album, "Dreamer in California" was released in May 2018 and features Snoop Dogg, Baby Bash, Steve Salas of Tierra, D. Salas, and MC Magic.[6]
