Daphne Dorman was an American transgender comedian, actress, and engineer. Best known for her work with comedian Dave Chappelle, she died by suicide on October 11, 2019, in San Francisco. Daphne was mentioned by Chappelle in his latest comedy special The Closer. Dorman was survived by her daughter Naia Dorman.[1][2][3][4][5]
