Darius Washington

(born August 10, 1992) is an American Producer, Artist, and Entrepreneur. He is the founder of Cornerstone Media Productions, State of the Arts Academy and Starz Academy. Darius was born in Clearwater, FL and at the tender age of 16, graduated honors from Riverview High School in Riverview, FL. In 2011 He was accepted into The University of Central Fl in Orlando, where he studied Business Administration. Washington, has been featured on international television networks (FOX, BET, The Word Network), and was an audition finalist for the hit gospel reality TV singing competition: BET Sunday Best Season 7. As of 2017, Washington has executive produced 1 feature film "The Appeal" (Directed by Ray Bengston; Starring Irma P. Hall (Tom Hank's co-star in the feature film The Lady Killers) and Richard Gant (Rocky V) . Darius has also co-produced nearly a dozen independent Christian music projects, dating back to 2012. In 2014, Washington co-featured a gospel single "I Love To Praise" with, then, Music World Entertainment (CEO: Matthew Knowles) artist Alexis Spight. In the fall of 2014 Darius relocated to Atlanta GA and founded State of the Arts Academy: a childcare center for performing arts in Atlanta, GA, during which time was recognized by the Lake Spivey Rotary Club Before expanding operations to Little Rock, AR under a new brand Starz Academy. Washington married his first wife Tonie Washington in September of 2010; They divorced in 2013 and share two of his three children together.
