Production[edit]
Development[edit]
Rumors of a reboot of the animated series Darkwing Duck first arose in 2015, but they were later debunked as an April Fools prank.[1][2]
In November 13, 2020, it was announced that a reboot of Darkwing Duck is in development.[3] Disney Television Animation and Point Grey Pictures will produce the series, with Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Alex McAtee, and James Weaver serving as executive-producers.[3] McAtee will also oversee the project for Point Grey Pictures.[3] Original series creator Tad Stones will be a creative consultant on the reboot.[4] During an interview with The A.V. Club in November 2022, Rogen confirmed the reboot is still in production.[5]
Release[edit]
The series is set to be released on Disney+, though there isn't a release date attached.[3]
