Daron Leah Nefcy (born November 8, 1985)[citation needed] is an American animator best known for being the creator of the Disney Channel animated series, Star vs. the Forces of Evil; she has been the second female lead showrunner for a Disney animated television series since 1997's Pepper Ann by Sue Rose.
