DARQ is an single player action adventure game developed and published by Unfold Games. It was released on Steam for Microsoft Windows on August 15, 2019. Developed and published by Unfold Games, DARQ takes you on a journey through player-character Lloyd’s nightmare. Unable to wake from these terrors, you have to help him uncover the meaning behind his dream. A definitive remaster titled Darq: Complete Edition was released for PC on December 2020

Plot
The game tells the story of Lloyd, a boy who is aware of the fact that he is dreaming. To Lloyd's misfortune, the dream quickly turns into a nightmare and all of his attempts in waking up end up failing. While exploring the darkest corners of his subconscious, Lloyd learns how to survive the nightmare by bending the laws of physics and manipulating the fluid fabric of the dream world. Apart from gravity-defying puzzles, Lloyd will have to use stealth when nearby enemies. He has no chance of winning in an open confrontation, since the creatures he will encounter are much more powerful and faster than him. Instead, he has to rely on careful planning to avoid getting detected.
Development
The video game is developed and published by Unfold Games in 2019, the year in which the preview is also broadcast.After 3 years of development – and many, many hours of hard work, Darq was released in 2019, has spawned two pieces of DLC (The Tower and The Crypt) and recently, the Complete Edition was released.Its development originally started in 2015.Unfold Games rejected all the attracted publishers and offers from gaming services prior to the release of the game. They then finally found a suitable publisher and the game was finally released on Steam and Epic Games Store.[1]
