Darya Andreichenko

Darya Andreichenko (born November 29, 1998 in Karaganda) is a Kazakhstan ice skater. She was the national champion of novice skaters in Kazakhstan in 2008.[citation needed] In 2016 she enrolled in Duke University and joined their skating team.

Novice Championships

Andreichenko secured the title of the National Champion of Novice Skaters in her home country in 2008.

Schooling

Andreichenko moved to the United States to attend Duke University on an international scholarship. She became the first Kazakhstani who received a grant from Bill Gates, who is one of the founders of the scholarship program.[1] She is a junior there, studying economics.[2] She has completed internships across the world, including many in Australia.[citation needed]
