Dasha Libin
Dasha Libin Anderson (born January 6, 1981) is a Russian martial artist and the creator of Kettlebell Kickboxing.
Biography
Dasha's kettlebell background stems from her Russian upbringing, where her grandfather taught kettlebells to the Soviet Army. Dasha's lifelong exposure to kettlebells led her to develop the unique workout combining kettlebells with the sleek movements of martial arts.
Dasha Libin earned a Master's degree in Sports Science, specializing in Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention (MS). She is also certified at the master level by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-PES).
Dasha teaches her fitness method, Kettlebell Kickboxing, aiming to empower women to achieve fitness with a focus on function, health, and longevity. Dasha also taught Kettlebell Kickboxing classes at the Whole Foods Wellness Club in Tribeca.
Dasha Libin has contributed to various publications, including FIGHT!, Fitness Rx, Oxygen, and Kettlebell Magazine. She writes a monthly column titled FUEL for the martial arts publication, Black Belt Magazine.
