DataSentics is the largest AI/ML product studio in the Czech Republic, specialising in developing artificial intelligence and machine learning-powered business solutions. The company primarily works with large enterprises with a strong vertical focus in the Financial Services, Retail and Media industries based in Central and Western Europe. DataSentics is headquartered in Prague and has another office in Brno.[1]
History
Beginnings
DataSentics was founded in 2016 by Petr Bednařík[2], who studied mathematics (modelling, financial and insurance) at the Czech Technical University in Prague and Charles University, and between 2007–2016 worked as a manager specialising in end-to-end cross-functional consulting projects in the area of insurance solutions at Deloitte. In just a few years, DataSentics has transformed from a basement start-up into a highly skilled team of over 100 data scientists and engineers working with big-name clients and partners such as Asahi, AWS, Mall.cz, Microsoft, Heureka, Moneta, Databricks, Erste, or Nestlé. [3]
Joining Atos group
In October 2021, DataSentics announced that it was becoming a part of Atos group - a global leader in digital transformation providing solutions for all industries in 71 countries with 107,000 employees and annual revenue of over € 11 billion.[4] [5] [6]
