Dating Gawi is the third studio album of Filipino singer, Rico Blanco. It was released on November 27, 2015, and was also his first release under Universal Records Philippines.[1]

Background

After signing with Universal Records on October, Universal Records announced that they would release Blanco’s all-Filipino album in November 2015.[2]

Writing And Recording

Rico stated that the new album would move away from the 'Fiestamatic' sound and return to basics.

Promotion

On August 5, 2016, the second single "Wag Mong Aminin" was released.[3] On January 24, 2017, the third single "Sorry Naman" was released[4]. On May 27, 2021, in partnership with Imperial Blue Whisky ads, the song "Alaala" was used[5]. The music video for the song "Alaala," which was shot six years ago, was posted on his official YouTube channel on June 15, 2021.[6]
