The Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) was a satellite campus of Southern Philippines Agri-Business, Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) located in Malita, Davao Occidental. It was separated from SPAMAST through Republic Act 11220[1] in 2019. After complying with the requirements of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the conversion of the college was approved through CHED Resolution No. 494-2019 on August 13, 2019. The DSSC Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Dr. Augie E. Fuentes as the first president of the college.
