Dave Ockun

Dave Ockun was born in Syosset, New York[1] and is a concert producer and music industry professional[2] based in Los Angeles.

Ockun, has managed the tours of Nick Carter, The Monkees and They Might Be Giants. Ockun has also toured with Backstreet Boys, Melissa Etheridge,[3] Barry Manilow and others. From 2003-2009 Ockun was a promoter representative for the largest live entertainment company, Live Nation (formerly Clear Channel Entertainment),[4] running local production in Los Angeles for some of the biggest concerts in music. From 2009 - 2010 Ockun was the Production Manager of North America Touring for Live Nation'.[5] Ockun has also had the privilege in the past of working with past legends including Ray Charles, Johnny Cash, and James Brown. From the end of 2010 till the end of 2014, Ockun left the concert industry and was heavily involved in Real Estate, where he appeared on several reality TV shows representing celebrity clientele. Ockun re-entered the concert industry in October 2014 as VP of Production and Operations for an independent concert promoter.

In January 2015, Ockun found "The Lost Tapes", which included "Laughter, Love & Memories" a radio show Ockun produced along with interviews Ockun had with many music and rock n roll icons in the early - mid 90s about late concert impresario Bill Graham. Segments of interviews with Carlos Santana, Richie Havens, John Popper, Eddie Money, Huey Lewis, Phil Ramone, Marty Balin, Jorma Kaukonan, Wavy Gravy and others have been included in the Bill Graham Rock n Roll Revolution Exhibition at The Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.[6]
