Davgotra

Davgotra or Devgotra is a prominent Sikh clan belonging to the Ramgarhia and Jatt tribe.
The origin of Davgotra was a Jatt clan. Later, they were considered and accepted as Ramgarhia, Jatt, and primarily Tarkhan. They were skilled artisans in the crafts of woodwork, ivory and ebony inlay work, and ironwork.
