David Agoglia
David Agoglia (born December 20, 1998 in Miami-Dade County, Florida) He competed at the 2015 Judo Cadet World Championships in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 55 kg division fighting the world ranked number two player of Russia Akhmarov Khamzat. He competed in other international tournaments like the 2014 Jr. Pan-American Championships in El Salvador and the 2015 Jr. U.S Open winning the bronze medal match against Eliezer Otero of Puerto Rico putting him at rank 24 in the world ranking list for that year.
On November 21, 2014 Agoglia was rushed to the hospital in Irving, Texas after severe cramping during weight cut and dehydration. He was not able to compete the following day but competed the day after winning a bronze medal at the 2014 National Presidents Cup Championships.
The following year Agoglia fought at the 2015 Jr. Scholastics Championships once again in Irving, Texas. He fought in the U18 55 kg with a win guaranteeing him a spot in the Cadet National team for the United States. The following day he won the gold in the U21 category for 55 kg earning him a spot on the Jr. National team as well and a rank number two spot on the national ranking roster.
Agoglia then fought at the Cadet World Championships in August 2015 where he was defeated in his first round against Russia's Akhmarov Khamzat by penalty.
