David Brooks (born March 30, 2007) is the founder and CEO of the Howard Roger Brooks Foundation and a standup comedian. He is a candidate for the United States Naval Academy's Class of 2028. He has raised up to $3,000 for his foundation which was made to help the homeless and disabled in Bristol, Virginia.
Early life[edit]
David was born at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia on March 30, 2007. In the infant years of his life he lived with his mother in various places such as Johnson City, Kingsport, and Jonesborough. After being around dangerous parts of those cities his mother moved him and his sister in with their grandparents.
For most of his early life, he was raised by the white side of his family and had little to no contact with his father and his African-American side.
