David Columbus Enslow
Early life
Born in Chelan county and raised in Kirkland, WA, Enslow was the son of Edith Loretta (nee Handley) and David Columbus Enslow, Senior. He was subsequently recruited by Darrel Royal to play at the University of Washington in Seattle in 1959. He was a member of consecutive Rose Bowl-winning teams under head coach Jim Owens.
Enslow died of prostate cancer at age 85. He is survived by wife Maryanne, his children David, John, Mary and Robert and his grandchildren, Columbus, Indiana, Margaux and Louisiana.
