David Jacox (born October 1, 1964) is a stunt coordinator, stunt performer and actor, a member of Stunts Canada[1] who has worked in film and television. He has worked in stunt performance since 1984.
He has been a stunt double for David Hasselhoff and Michael Ironside, and worked on TV shows from Eureka to Smallville, and films from Get Carter to Jumanji.
He was nominated for by the Taurus World Stunt Awards for Best Work with a Vehicle in 2001[2] for a stunt performed for the film Reindeer Games (2000).
Jacox was interviewed by Kempton Lam in 2007 where he discussed the impact of the 2007-08 Writers Guild of America strike on the film industry. [3]
Jacox described stunt driving in an article for Canada.com, when he said "There is a big difference between sliding up to a set of cones and sliding up to a camera crew or the lead actor." [4]
Jacox was nominated in the UBCP/ACTRA Awards 2014 for Best Stunt for his performance in Arrow – City of Heroes -Stunt Driver.[5]
