David Krain
David Krain (born in 1972) is an award-winning film and television composer from Toronto, Canada.
Early life
David started his career as the main songwriter and guitarist for the Canadian band Gypsy Soul.[1] The band toured North America, and their song "Black Book Man" was nominated for a MuchMusic Video Award. The band was signed to Resort/A&M records and later Universal Music. In 1998, Gypsy Soul was nominated for a Governor General's Award for outstanding young achievement.
Career
David Krain has composed music for many TV shows such as Mantracker, Property Brothers and the Emmy Award-winning show Vice on HBO. David has won a Gemini[2] and has been nominated for a Gemini[3] for his work on Mantracker. He was also nominated for a Gemini for his music on Survive This (with host Survivorman Les Stroud).[4]
