David Oliver Kling is a Presiding Bishop in The Community of Saint George, a Young Rite jurisdiction, and an associate member of the Ascension Alliance and assisting bishop with the Convergent Christian Communion.

The biography on the Community of Saint George website reads: "Rt. Rev. David Oliver Kling has been a hospice chaplain in Northeast Ohio since 2013. He graduated from Wright State University with a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.A. in Religious Studies and from Methodist Theological School in Ohio with a Master of Divinity specializing in Black Church and African Diaspora Studies followed by a year-long chaplain residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia prior to working in Hospice. He has served as a Director of Religious Education and Consulting Minister at two different Unitarian Universalist congregations. Oliver has been a bishop since September 2004 and incardinated into The Young Rite in 2014.  He has been on the Council of Three, the governing council of the Young Rite International since 2016, and founded The Community of Saint George (The Young Rite) in 2018."[1]
